We’re used to being inundated with endless gorgeous photos on Instagram, so it’s a rare occurrence for us to find one that truly snags our attention. But leave it to Blake Lively to make our thumbs come to a halt mid-scroll. Surprisingly this time, though, it has nothing to do with her hair (which is always prime Like-bait), and everything to do with Harry Potter. Confused? Hang with us here…

Earlier this morning the actress shared a photo of her new manicure, which to an untrained eye looked like your requisite negative space mani (yep, the trend is still going strong) featuring a triangle with a circle among the other lightly colored nails. But the image’s caption was a dead giveaway to it’s true meaning: “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.” If you’re a Potterhead, you know the reference. Check it out below:

Considering that this allusion to the deathly hallows highlights one of the most powerful symbols in the Harry Potter franchise’s history, we can only assume that Lively is a real Potter fan like us. Even as an adult, the beauty lover and HP fanatic in me can’t help but fangirl a little.

What’s perhaps the best thing about it is that the palette is so chic and understated. Even if you’re not an HP fan (not to side-eye you), the concept is definitely one worth stealing. In which case, we’d recommend coating your nails with a clear base coat before applying a beige-based pink shade to create a subtle geographic design. We’re currently loving Zoya Nail Polish in Amanda ($10) for the most natural, delicate look, but any light beige, pink shade can do the trick.

Now excuse us while we go track down the when the next Harry Potter weekend is happening. Blake, please tell us you’re in?
