Sure, we said the wet-hair look might actually make a ripple in the style world this year (thanks to some looks shown at Fashion Week back in September), but this weekend it became a full-on Hollywood trend when three stars wore some version of the style at three different events.

Jennifer Lopez wore a slicked-back ponytail to perform at the IHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party:

Keke Palmer went for a very shiny, slick, brushed-back style at the BET Awards:

Fashion Week has tried to make the wet-hair look happen before, but based on this weekend, I’d say this is the first year it succeeded in Hollywood. The idea is to keep the hair looking sleek, edgy, and (here’s the big new thing) untouchable. Are you into it?
